What is PCI Compliance?

The Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council establishes security standards known as the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI-DSS or PCI) to safeguard credit card data. Organizations that transmit, process, or store credit card information must comply with these standards. To learn more, visit the PCI Council's website

How can I become PCI Compliant?

To meet PCI DSS requirements, businesses must take steps such as completing a Self-Assessment Questionnaire (SAQ), conducting network vulnerability tests and more. Specific steps depend on business type.

If you are interested in becoming PCI compliant, there are a number of PCI security assessors available. You can view a list of options on the official PCI website here.

About PCI DSS 4.0

New Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS 4.0) take effect on March 31st, 2025
