Inline editing is a user-friendly feature that lets you edit and preview your website content directly within the Design tool's preview window. It simplifies the editing process by eliminating the need to switch between different pages or navigate through menus.
To start editing, simply click into your content block while you're in the Design tool.
What Can You Do with Inline Editing?
Inline editing offers a lot of control over your website's content. Here are a few key features:
Adding Missing Content Blocks
If a content block is missing a title or description, you don't need to go back to the Content tool. Simply:
Hover over the title or description area. You'll see a red line and a plus sign appear.
Click the plus sign.
You'll be prompted to start typing, and just like that, your new content is added!
Editing Titles and Descriptions
Editing existing titles and descriptions is also much easier. Just hover over the content you want to edit, and a popup box will appear. This box lets you modify various aspects of your text, including:
Size
Text color
Indent
Capitalization
Letter spacing
Bold, italicize, underline
Column amount
Add a button, hyperlink, or bullet list

Saving and Publishing
Inline editing automatically saves any changes you make. However, these changes won't be visible to the public until you hit the green Publish button. This means you can make edits, close your window, and come back later to review them before making them live.
