Default vs. Open in Modal Click Actions
Within the design editor, you can change the behavior of images within a gallery to either 'Default' and 'Open In Modal'
---
Default
This option enables the default action set within your content area. Either no click action or the image links to a location that you set. You can link images to other pages on the site or a custom URL. For instructions on linking images, click here.

Open in Modal
This option enables the modal view. When the image(s) is clicked, a larger version overlaying the gallery and site appears.
