Can I switch templates after I've already selected one for my site?
There is not an option to switch templates once one is already selected. However, every template on liveBooks contains the same features and design options, so you can edit your existing website to replicate another template.
If you want to start over from scratch on another template, you can create a new "free trial" website, select a new template, and re-upload all of your images and re-enter your content to the new site. Then, delete the old site from your account.
You can begin a new free trial from your liveBooks dashboard:
- Log in to your design.livebooks.com dashboard, then click the "Active Site" dropdown menu on the top-left corner of the page.
- Click Create New Site from the dropdown menu.
- You will be asked to select a new template. Choose the template you would like to use, then enter a name (this name is internal-only, and will appear in the "Active Site" dropdown menu).
If you have a paid subscription and wish to move it to your new free trial site, then you can reach out to support@livebooks.com to help update your subscription.
Note: Keep in mind that it can take up to two weeks for manual subscription changes to be completed.
